The Mecha Knights is a group of incredibly motivated teenage experts

building opportunities for themselves and for their community.

We get to:

  • Build super cool robots with lots of cool parts and tools.  We learn to problem solve and create code to make our robot succeed in challenging competitions.
  • Be exposed and learn a wide variety of tech solutions.  This world is only going to get techier and we are so excited for the opportunity to use technology to create freedom and prosperity for our community.
  • Create an awesome team culture.  We all come from different backgrounds and we're a strong team because we build off each member's strengths.  Everyone has a part to play in creating a winning strategy for competitions.  It's not just all coding and robot bits.
  • Learn business, public relations and artistic skills that will help us in whatever we choose to pursue.

Building

We get to design and build our own robots to solve specific problems.  Then we get to re-build the robot because we didn't get it just right.  And then we get to build it again and again because we think we could build it better.  But eventually we get it right!  And all along the way we have all the emotions.

Our robots are not made from kits.  We design everything from scratch.

Outreach

We bring the coolness of robotics to people who may just think that robotics are out of reach and too difficult.  We're not a group of nerds working in a closet and competing for weird trophies.  It's about not being afraid of technology but instead harnessing it to improve all of our lives.
